It is a bright and beautiful morning in Loreto and there is nothing like a nice brisk walk on the beach listening to the sound of the surf and waves. Comfortable 72F or 22C temperatures with sunrises at 7:14 am.  I like to get out and walk 5 km every morning before breakfast and today we went to check out the new site of Serenity, Loreto By The Sea. 

The developers have started clearing the property and cleanup of the beach.   What a difference!  The beach sand is much softer than further north by Loreto Bay Hotel and it is also much wider … I guess because the breakwaters have protected the erosion over the past decade.   I have been told that they just purchased a brand new Barber Surf Rake Model 400 that will make the sand much cleaner and fluffier!  I am looking forward to rolling around in it!!        

This beautiful 12 acres is surrounded by the Sierra Mountains, Sea of Cortez, with Carmen Island shimmering across the water.  Loreto Bay community can be seen in the distance.   The BLUE skies, gentle breezes, and sound the surf are all so tranquil and really does inspire the name SERENITY!  My favorite thing about this resort is that it is very secluded and private away from all other homes and businesses YET just a short walk or drive to be where the action is!
